SafeTest is an advanced, AI-driven assessment locking client built to safeguard academic integrity. It features real-time face detection, background audio monitoring, and system-level lockouts across platforms.
Engineered with advanced security mechanisms to provide robust exam security and absolute confidence.
Runs state-of-the-art on-device face detection to monitor candidates in real-time. Instantly detects and flags infractions like face absence, multiple faces, and head turning with photographic evidence.
Monitors environmental decibels and audio frequencies. Automatically flags unauthorized conversations, Whispers, or external assistance during tests.
Guards exam questions from distribution. System-level hooks prevent screenshot triggers, printscreen actions, and screen-sharing recordings.
Restricts search shortcuts and multitasking. Minimizing the app or losing focus triggers instant security warnings and logs violations.
Authenticates student identities with customized profiling fields. Validates student names, emails, and matriculation codes against pre-configured institutional enrollment lists before granting access to exam questions.
Guards against exam farm networks. Captures physical device location to ensure student compliance with the designated exam center boundaries.
Guards exam integrity and student privacy. All quiz questions, responses, and proctoring snapshots are end-to-end encrypted locally on the device using the quiz access key. Only authorized administrators can decrypt and view them.
From rich question types and bulk template parsing to adaptive timing and automatic grading models.
Author exams with a wide range of questions including Multiple Choice (MCQs), multi-select Checkboxes, Fill-in-the-Gaps, Listing questions, and open-ended Essays. Build tests manually with support for uploading diagram and illustration attachments, or import Word (.docx) templates to parse items in bulk.
Total control over exam structure. Adjust time duration limits, scheduled window availability, maximum attempt caps, platform locks, and enable built-in basic or scientific calculators for candidates to use in-app.
Review detailed metrics of student submissions. Auto-grades open-ended answers via on-device AI integration and provides exports into formats like Excel (.xlsx) or PDF reports summarizing scores, locations, and proctor logs.
Compare proctoring feature support across mobile, desktop, and standard distributions.

Due to differences in platform security architecture, screenshot blocking and direct camera access configurations vary. On platforms like macOS where hardware/os screenshot blocking is restricted, SafeTest prioritizes aggressive window focus, overlay blur triggers, and background analytics verification to maintain high assessment security.
SafeTest does not just lock down a screen; it provides a comprehensive grading and review infrastructure.
Integrates directly with Gemini LLM systems. Instantly scores short answers, essay papers, and open-ended test items with extensive feedback logs.
Network dropouts won't disrupt test schedules. Local storage encrypts answer backups and caches proctor logs, uploading everything securely when reconnected.
Instructors can monitor all exam takers concurrently. Instantly displays red-flags, camera status indicators, face visibility reports, and live violations.
Seamlessly matches student invitation structures. Users can launch exams directly from browsers or social media platforms via auto-routing schemes.
Lock down the testing medium to specific platform classes. Enforce "Desktop-only" for strict sandbox environments or "Mobile-only" policies depending on institutional exam protocols.
Submit general queries or open payment disputes directly within the app. Features real-time, back-and-forth messaging with support agents, complete with secure document and snapshot attachments.
Keep track of all license purchases and renewals. The billing panel displays detailed receipt history records, transaction reference tracking, active plan statuses, and automatic subscription logs.
Protect quiz entry credentials at rest. Test access codes are encrypted symmetrically using AES-256 before hitting the database, neutralizing sniffing or bulk key exports.
Scale your assessment security. Start for free and upgrade as your class or institution grows.

SafeTest contains an offline session resilience feature. If the network drops, you can continue answering your questions. All answers, log entries, and snapshots are encrypted and saved in the device's local database cache, then instantly uploaded to Supabase as soon as connection is re-established.
These permissions are requested if your instructor enables "Camera Proctoring" or "Audio Proctoring" for the quiz. The camera is used for Identity Verification (validating you match your enrolled student profile) and tracking face presence. The microphone measures ambient sounds to flag potential unauthorized communication. No background recording takes place outside active exam sessions.
Security violations are logged for actions that breach academic integrity. These include: minimizing the application window, switching tabs, double click outside the screen, opening background applications, connecting a secondary monitor (Windows), or pulling down notifications (Android/iOS). By default, reaching 3 warning thresholds will terminate your test session and force-submit your progress.
Yes! However, due to differing platform features, there are variances:
• MacBook (macOS): Fully supports Tab-swapping checks, identity verification, audio,
and camera proctoring. Screenshot and screen recording blocking is currently disabled due to operating
system permission constraints.
